We didn't eat in the dining room as it was very busy but crossed the road to a restaurant clearly popular with the locals where I enjoyed the best Cafe Gourmand of my life, for a very reasonable price. "Lovely quirky hotel! We had a nice room with table and chairs so, whilst no food was on offer, we were able to go to the nearby supermarket for supplies, and have a little picnic in the room after a long journey. The bed was comfortable and, despite our initial concerns, there was no noise from the nearby busy roads. The hotel provided an excellent breakfast included in the price. A great stay and excellent value for money!"

"The first room we got assigned had no towels, a dirty shower and missed pillow cases. The reception said that housekeeping couldn’t come back to clean and we were assigned another room. It appeared that it was cleaned but the airconditioning wasn’t working in this room. This property is old, not maintained (leaking air conditioning in the hallways) or cleaned (dirty carpets) . Staff didn’t even care when I told them I had a terrible stay upon check out. They just smiled. When paying 300 Euros...
