"Primera Hacienda Hotel Boutique exceeded our expectations. The property, built in 1870, is very beautiful. The common spaces are nicely arranged and decorated. The rooms that we viewed were all clean and tastefully decorated and our room was very comfortable. The dining area is quite cozy and inviting. The included breakfasts were very good and filling. We also took the option of eating in for our evening meals and were treated to wonderful Chilean cuisine. Most of all, our hostess and hotel manager, Maria, treated us like family from the moment we arrived. She looked after every need to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoying our time in La Serena. The hotel is also conveniently located within easy walking distance to the city centre.
