"We loved staying on the farm. The house was large and spotless, hosts incredibly helpful. Our 3 and 5 year olds boys loved it too! The only thing to note for other guests (that is very usual in France) is that you need to bring your own bedding, this isn’t explicitly called out on the listing. Would definitely stay again! "

"Helpful host who adjoins the property so any issues easily resolved as they are on hand. Was very hot when we stayed and although fans provided it made sleeping in the mezzanine very warm. The pool was a welcome relief and kept spotlessly clean by the host who shut it down each evening and cleaned each day. Lovely welcome ‘basket!’ of wine, bread, pizza etc. great location to visit Saint Emilion, Bergerac etc and lots of fabulous markers. Would stay again"

"The property is a delightful little terraced cottage that has everything required for any length of stay. It was immaculate and carried lots of old charm. Only a minute's walk to the beautiful plaza. A brilliant stay."

"From first contact, Nathalie was extremely helpful, we got a great video for check in as we were arriving very late at night. The wine was great, we know, we drank enough of it!! The house was clean and spacious with lots of games, the swimming pool was perfect, we all loved the diving board. We nicknamed the pool hoover Janice, she was a bit annoying in the pool all the time but the pool was clean so worth it I suppose. "Just returned from 10 days at this property. Quite easily the best accommodation we have stayed at in France. Frank is a fantastic host and very accommodating. Communication and check in was simple. The house and pool are absolutely impeccable. Designed and renovated to an extremely high standard. Everything was spotless on arrival and had everything you could possibly need. I really can’t recommend this highly enough. Hoping to return very soon."

"We spent 7 nights at this lovely Chateau des egrons in May 2023. 7 adults, 1 child and 2 small dogs. The location is perfect for a peaceful break yet close enough to venture if wanted. The booking process was easy and ongoing communication from the owner, and once in France the Chateau manager Jayne and her team were on hand for literally anything as they were only 10 minutes away. Would absolutely recommend this amazing place to anyone."

"Very clean pleasant gite offering a spot opposite it to rest. Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. Very good holidays week. The owner is very cheerful. "

"For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "
