The house is located on the estuary of Rance, in the center of the village of La Richardais, 150 m from the marina and a small beach where swimming is possible at high tide. 3 km from Dinard, 10 minutes by bike, 5 min. by car, or 10 minutes by bus (stop at 100 m.). Shops are located opposite, on the square of the church and the town hall (bar-tabac-loto, bakery, hairdresser, beautician, municipal media library), supermarket, post office, pharmacy and creperie less than 300 m.
The house has been completely renovated in 2016, appliances are new or recent, the kitchen has all the necessary equipment (food processor, toaster, Nespresso machine, many kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery). The bedding is new or recent. The garden (150m²), facing east, south and west, is composed of hedges and flower beds on the property line and a gravelled courtyard to park a car. The paved side living room (south) allows to install the garden furniture (table and chairs for 8 people) and deckchairs. A large parasol and a barbecue are available.
The house consists, on the ground floor (tiles): an entrance, a toilet and a laundry area (washing machine, dryer new), a kitchen (oven, micro-oven). new wave, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer) open to living room, a living room opening onto the garden (two east and south sliding windows) with flat screen TV and recent DVD player.
On the 1st floor (parquet): landing distributing a first room with bed of 160x200 and a wardrobe; access to a bathroom with WC. A second bedroom with bed 160x200 and a wardrobe.
2nd floor (parquet): landing distributing a 3rd bedroom under roof with dormer and exposed stone wall with a bed of 110X200; access to a bathroom with WC. The 4th bedroom, under the roof, has 2 single beds of 190x90 and gives access to a small mezzanine-children's playroom (maximum height of 1.40 m at the ridge). Very bright, it is lit by two large velux windows, one with electric shutter; Beams and visible stones.

The Richardais is a typical village in the coastal Haute-Bretagne, with many stone houses with openings highlighted with brick equipment. Small anchorage and grounding port located on the Rance, just upstream of the famous dam of the same name. The museum and sculpture garden Manoli and the Montmarin area are nearby, within walking distance of one of the many walking and hiking trails from the village. Dinard, the "city garden by the sea", famous for its 400 classified "Belle Epoque" villas and its British film festival (every year early September) is located 3 km. Very beautiful beaches with different atmospheres, the beach of downtown with its cafes, its casino and its shops to the more wild beaches, open on the wide. Important market, very prized, 3 times a week and halls open every day in season. Saint-Malo, famous corsair city, is 6 km. Its ramparts and the fort of the small Be, accessible at low tide, are the opportunity for beautiful walks with a splendid view of the bay. Inside the ramparts, some beautiful houses and mansions, nestled at the bend of a street, many shops and restaurants, very busy, especially on rainy days! The marinas, trade and car-ferries allow to see all types of ships and even "the Fox", replica cutter of the famous corsair Surcouf on which one can board for a trip in the bay! The large aquarium located at the entrance of the city is very easy to access from La Richardais. Dinard and Saint-Malo are accessible in 5 and 10 min. by car and 20 min. by a bus line; the stop is 100 m away. from the house (1 because every hour, trip to 2 €). The Rance dam, home to a unique tidal power plant in the world, allows the road link between Dinard-La Richardais and Saint-Malo. Pay attention to the opening hours of the lock during which the traffic is cut for 10 min., Every hour at H + 10 min., From 6h to 22h! In season, a connection by boat (departure from the marina of Dinard) allows to directly connect Saint-Malo intra muros in 10 min. Dinan (medieval city center), Saint-Lunaire (small seaside resort with a superb beach overhung with beautiful villas), Saint-Briac and Saint-Jacut (small harbors and typical villages) and the many small ports that are crisscrossed on the banks of the Rance are within a radius of 5 to 15 km. Mont-Saint-Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Fougères (medieval city center and Europe's largest fortified castle) are 50 km away. The Anglo-Norman islands of Jersey and Guernsey, for the most famous, are accessible after a crossing of approx. 1 hour from the ferry terminal of Naye Saint-Malo and are the guarantee of a guaranteed change of scenery.
