Skiing week with friends
Although the apartment was compact it was easily large enough for three male friends (and could comfortably accommodate one more). It was warm, clean, well-maintained and well-appointed, and had a lovely view across to the mountains on the opposite side of the valley. There was a good range of equipment and utensils in the well finished kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the bunks were easily large enough for adults. We were unable to find sheets for the beds, but we may have misinterpreted the terms of the rental arrangements regarding this; this did not prove to be a problem as we always travel with sleeping bags at this time of the year and simply used these instead. The position of the apartment, close to the ski lifts in the pretty, small village of Les Coches, made door-to-door skiing possible (on this occasion) and gave easy access to La Plagne and Les Arcs ski areas. The roomy, lockable ski / equipment locker in the entrance lobby of the apartment block was a great feature and the ground floor location of the apartment was also appreciated at the end of a tiring day, as was the efficient shower in the well appointed bathroom. Communication with the owner and her caretaker was easy and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much and would recommend it to families or groups of friends without hesitation.
