"Lady on reception when arrived was lovely, the lady on saturday and sunday morning was not even friendly, like she didn't want to be there and when we asked for more bread as this had run out at breakfast, its like it was too much trouble for her and she was miserable. Location was good 5 mins to train/bus station and about 10 mins to the centre. Bathroom was dirty, room was basic but ok and window opened wide, which was good. The door do slam shut so this was noisy at night sometimes. Overall...

"I am writing this review on behalf of my daughter. We originally booked it for one night only, but due to changing family circumstances she had to add another night. She doesn't speak French, so she was very impressed with the staff ability to communicate with her and help her with all her needs. Customer service is what made this property to stand out. "Stunning castle and grounds, nicely appointed with very traditional furnishings. Well maintained. Grégoire, his wife and family were gracious hosts - we felt most welcome during our week-long stay. We stayed in the old block and small tower, away from the main tower. Some may find the accommodation a bit spooky, we did, but after the first night we found it added to the adventure.
