"Our group of 7 people (3 adults and 4 kids) made a last-minute booking at Hotel Portneuvois when it had the last 2 rooms available in the Quebec City region on a fall holiday weekend. We had no idea what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. Checkin was courteous and quick. Rooms were impeccably clean. Beds were warm and cozy. It is a 45-minute drive from old town Quebec, but much of the route is scenic and there are several pleasant and picturesque towns on the way for a meal etc. A great value if you are looking to stay in the region but find prices or availability in QC itself to be prohibitive."

"The house is cozy and comfortable with a large kitchen. The property is gorgeous with a large backyard and wide view of the St. Lawrence river. We spent hours sitting and watching the water, talking and reading. The pharmacy and grocery are both within a quick walk and Quebec City is an easy drive. Loved it! "

"Très beau séjour en famille, chalet super propre, bien équipé. C’est un peu juste pour le nombre de chaises autant intérieur qu’extérieur. Petite déception pour l’accès à la rivière c’est plutôt difficile. Belle expérience en général!"

"Notre famille a apprécié notre séjour dans cette maison vieille de 200 ans qui ressemble plus à un musée qu'à une maison. L'emplacement était à quelques pas du centre de la ville avec des options pratiques pour faire l'épicerie. Le café du curiosités, à côté de la maison, est un incontournable pour un délicieux déjeuner. Assurez-vous de prendre le temps de voir la magnifique cathédrale. La maison a fourni de nombreux conforts, nous avons apprécié l'hospitalité. J'ai voyagé du Michigan avec six enfants et j'ai réalisé le rêve de ma vie. J'ai visité la ville de Québec, la maison de mes ancêtres, et j'ai pratiqué un peu le français. Merci! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour!"
