"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Makawe. The rooftop was a great place to start our mornings with a good cup of coffee. The room was clean, the A/C worked well, and we enjoyed the balcony of the king suite! It was nice having a well-equipped kitchen for making snacks and keeping cold beverages on hand! Not sure if we will ever return to Sayulita, but if we do, Casa Makawe will be at the top of our list."

"The place is spacious with two bathrooms for our family of four . The kids slept on futons in the living room , but they seemed happy with that . We were there Halloween and early November so lots happening in the town but it was quiet enough in the suite on the side facing the hillside. The rooftop patio is as lovely as the photos , and that is shared but we found it not very busy . Sayulita has nice beaches and restaurants within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance. Just be prepared to walk...

"Nice new building with a lovely pool and pool deck. Only downsides were: it was a fairly long hike north or south to the nearest towns. So be prepared to walk unless you have a car. Kitchen was missing some basics. I would also suggest a few more amenities in the suite such as a few books to share; an info sheet on things like the wifi code, what to do with garbage, etc. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay."
