"I booked the hotel based on the photos. Be aware that the Onkel Inn in La Paz is NOT next to the water, nor does it have floor to ceiling patio doors leading out to the water, a huge reception area or a spa tub. These photos (as I discovered when I arrived) are actually of their other hotel in Copacabana. The La Paz Onkel Inn was very much a hostel located in a shopping centre. "Great location, right next to the Museo Etnografica and not a far walk at all from San Francisco Square. I arrived 1 hour before check in time but they let me check in early. Showers were warm/hot though there was only one temperature and it was a little cramped. Some parts of the bathroom were a bit dingy but mostly quite clean!
