Also a small intermarche within walking distance which was handy. "We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and filled with lots of antiques which added character. The house is in a quiet rural location but close to Excideuil (we recomend the market) and Brantome for kayaking. "This gite has everything you could need and more from a lovely pool to an outdoor gas barbecue and an (indoor) air fryer. Julia and her family made us all feel really welcome, lots of helpful advice and communication. The only thing we’d change was the weather! Such a shame and meant we didn’t make as much use of the fab pool as we’d hoped. Other than that - perfect!"
