"A great quiet place but difficult to find parking. Be prepared to walk a bit uphill when you do locate the parking garage. We stayed one night and it was nice. The bed could have been more comfortable (a bit lumpy). We found places to walk and restaurants close by. "

"We booked and arrived late as we had been camping but the storm was bad so we sought shelter nearby It said there was parking on the profile but there wasn’t so we had to park in the street in broken glass The aircon did not work properly there was an extension lead for the to which was a trip hazard"

"Plenty of off road parking, large well laid out kitchen diner with balcony, 4 bedrooms 3 with access to the lower balcony leading to the pool, 4 bathrooms, gas barbecue which we used most nights, and the views of the coast, castle and the mountains were out of this world, Jose was an amazing host and very helpful and discreet he visited only once just to ask if everything was ok and to ask if we needed anything, we will go back next September because it was total paradise and not far from Salobrena and Almunecar, can't wait."

"Lanjaron is a little tired compared to other towns and villages we visited on our trip. Hotel was clean and tidy, new sealant around the bath required, suite brown (probably lovely in its day) but clean. Bed not great, we could feel the springs popping, not comfy and felt old. Decor plain and old fashioned. The outside was well maintained and a good size pool but we didn’t use. We paid for breakfast which was ok. Value for money, compared to other hotels on our trip, not great. "

"My husband, son aged 14 and daughter aged 12 stayed at Sigi’s place for 14 nights. The setting is beautiful. The villa itself is simple and very stylish with everything you need. The pool is definitely the best pool we have ever had with the most amazing picture perfect backdrop. The children spent hours in it playing volleyball. During our stay we did ‘El Caminito del Rey’ which was a great experience but it’s a bit of a drive (2 hours). Closer by and definitely not to be missed, is the Alhambra and the Albaicín area of Granada. We also went horse riding locally and did a sunset hike. Both great experiences. Sigi’s place is a lovely to get away from it all. We didn’t really venture into Órgiva town centre much other than to get groceries as BBQing at the villa was so lovely. There are some picturesque little villages to visit which are only a 25 min drive away. Sigi is a great host and responds quickly! Barney and his wife Sarah look after the pool and garden and Clara does the cleaning. All really great and lovely to chat to 😊"
