"We booked a stay here on a whim. TBH we didn’t even look at the pictures. The price was right and it was close to the local hot springs. We pulled up around 5pm and the entire place looked empty. No cars, no people. We walked in to check in and Randolph greeted us! One of the nicest gentleman we have met. He checked us in quickly, showed us on a property map where our room was and told us the restaurant was open till 9pm. We got our room situated and headed to the restaurant not knowing what to expect. The two ladies were so prompt getting us a seat. We ordered our dinner and OMG, it was delicious! Within about 30 minutes the restaurant was packed, the lights were turning on across the property and this place that we were so hesitant to stay at was a dream. Our room was beautiful, warm with an amazing fireplace, beautiful patio. The bed was comfy and we had a few bottles of the prickly pear cider for our room. The following morning we had another delicious breakfast and walked the property looking at all the sculptures, the garden and the livestock. Checkout was smooth and we grabbed some of the lavender products from the gift shop. This place was an absolute dream. We had been in the road 4 hours and didn’t do our justice in researching and this completely paid off in our favor. We are already planning on coming back in June when the lavender farms are open. Truly a beautiful properly!! Stay here without reservation!!!!! "

"We held a small family reunion here. Our stay was lovely! The views from the house are just gorgeous and there was plenty of space for several families to each get some privacy. The kitchen is well stocked too. I’d highly recommend, and we’re already thinking of returning."

"Hubs and I stayed here in the "Esmerelda". The property and surrounding areas are absolutely gorgeous and the view of the mountains is incredible. I loved the copper detail with the green on the interior. Room came with a mini fridge, French press, & microwave. The water pressure and hot water in the shower was fantastic but they also have shower rooms that are attached to the lobby. Staff was very friendly and even wrote down some restaurant recommendations. Property was very quiet and the bed was super comfortable. The "Esmerelda" is great solo or with a parter. But if traveling with pets or in larger groups i would suggest one of the larger airstreams. But again, it was perfect for me and my husband. Looking forward to staying again during warmer temps. The stars at night were incredible but the "feels like" temps were in the negatives so I didn't spend as much time as I wanted to outdoor "

"Property was great. Beware of the aggressive dog on the corner of Lower Las Colonias. Easy drive to skiing. Enjoyed the hot tub in the sub zero temps outside. "
