This comfortable art-filled house in La Jolla is a wonderful space for your next family retreat to Southern California! Featuring a fully stocked kitchen, recently renovated downstairs bedrooms, beautiful backyard with unheated private pool, and easy access to the ocean beach nearby. This family abode provides plenty of space and the comforts of home. The backyard patio and the gas grill are great for beautiful days, while the living area has plenty of room that lets you escape indoors when you've had your fill of California sunshine.
Thoughtful upgrades as of March 2024 include fresh paint, carpets, windows, and beds in the downstairs bedrooms, a king mattress in the large upstairs bedrooms, a gas cooktop in the kitchen, and a propane built-in BBQ.
This house is a short drive or leisurely walk from the beach at La Jolla Shores, La Jolla Cove, and the La Jolla Tide Pools. The Museum of Contemporary Art, a movie theater, and many fantastic restaurants are also nearby in downtown La Jolla or at the Shores. Downtown San Diego, SeaWorld, Balboa Park and the Zoo are all a quick trip away - within 15 miles.
Things to Know
The pool/jacuzzi are not heated.
The house is conveniently located near La Jolla Parkway but some street noise can be heard with windows open.
This is a residential community so please be respectful of oneighbors.
The rental agreement has a zero-tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, and/or parties. Deposit forfeiture and evictions are strictly enforced.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
