The home has A/C for the individual rooms which is controlled by a wireless remote for each respective wall units.

This truly classic 1-bedroom, 440 square foot home has everything you need to make your stay in gorgeous San Diego one you will never forget. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a personal retreat.

This spacious bungalow offers high-vaulted wood ceilings and a bright living room with a skylight. The beach inspired décor and comfortable seating, a ceiling fan, and a 42” wall-mounted flat screen make it the perfect place to relax and watch a movie when you are not at the beach or enjoying La Jolla Village.

Gorgeous hardwood floors and updated appliances and furnishings throughout the home also give it a warm, welcoming, yet serene feeling. There is also a dining table for 4 in this great room area.

Enjoy preparing meals for family and friends in the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a modern back splash, and all of the cooking essentials you need to meet your culinary needs. A quaint breakfast nook in the kitchen is a great place to have your coffee while breakfast is being prepared!

The well-designed and spacious master bedroom offers vaulted ceilings, calming décor, a 40” flat screen TV, and a full an ensuite bathroom. A ceiling fan and natural lighting make it is wonderful place to be. Taking a nap or curling up and reading a book might be very enticing options.

This home has everything you could want and is in the perfect location. Take a quick walk down to the beach to relax, play in the sand, rent kayaks, explore the caves, or take a surf lesson! Loved my stay! Property manager was easy to work with, the property exceeded my expectations in location and proximity to beach, restaurants, fun, etc. and in the the layout and how well-equipped it was. The only thing I’d change is that the bathroom was a little old and had a slow drain in the tub. Would definitely stay here again (and hope to)! Thanks!

We love La Jolla Shores! The beach is a few easy blocks away. It’s a wonderful place to swim, sunbathe, kayak, surf. You name it. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The property is well maintained and comfortable. It’s got everything we need for a great location.

A lovely beach house
We had a wonderful time staying at this house for 2 weeks. The location is superb --- we walked down to the beach/playground and restaurants after work each day. I was worried that it would be a bit tight for our family of 4 with the kids in a pull-out couch for 2 weeks, but we had a lovely time and we enjoyed the secluded front porch area as a way to spread out a little bit. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Wonderful Place to Vacation
The home perfectly fit myself, husband and our toddler. The kitchen was stocked with appliances (we cooked regularly) and the beds were very comfortable. The location was amazing and we enjoyed being able to walk around the corner to the local market and taking longer strolls to the busier downtown area. The beach is but a few minutes away (walking). Highly recommend!

Lovely stay in La Jolla
My husband and I stayed at this property while visiting our son at UCSD. The location was wonderful. Quick walk to coffee and the beach and then quick drive to campus to take my son out to dinner. The rooms were mostly very neat, clean. There is an area rug that they may want to replace as it is a bit stained and makes the room seem not as neat/clean. The locked gate and outdoor space was very nice to have as was the laundry. Overall I would recommend.

Lovely Property and an Excellent Location
We had a great stay in San Diego at this property. It was within walking distance to the beach and to different restaurants. This was especially important to us with a baby. The unit couldn't have been better. It was a nice size, perfect for our little family, clean and had a really nice beachy vibe. The rental company was so easy to work with as well. We loved every minute of our vacation. If ever back in the San Diego/La Jolla area this would be a place I would 10% stay at again.

Great location, but challenging communication
This is a tough review to write. On the one hand, the location is outstanding and the unit is very livable. On the other hand many, many things were broken and in spite of leaving emails, 2 voicemails to the designated number, and a couple of other calls to the other number, we never got so much as a response. Toilet seat was broken, pots in the kitchen had handles falling off, front door was broken so it had to be slammed to close it (neighbors were not happy), and one of the coffee cups had a broken handle. It became so frustrating we got some tools and fixed the pots in the kitchen so we could cook. It is really a great space if they would just repair items or at least improve their communication.

Great place!
We just finished a 2 week stay at the Shores! It was cleaner than the pictures. The location couldn't be better. it really is 5 minutes to the beach. Rose really helped us out with a playpen and highchair for our 20 month old toddler. La Jolla really is a gem. a huge beach for swimming, snorkelling, diving, etc. There is everything going on, on this beach.The restaurants and cafes bring the "hills" down to the Beach. We did all the attractions of San Diego. It really is 15 minutes to all of the big attractions. The resident neighbors were great. They made our stay feel a little more like living like the locals. Thanks again for all your efforts Rose. Rose was very easy to communicate with and very promptly responses. If we come back to La Jolla we hope we can stay here again . C,J,&C

Nice Location, OK Stay
It was easy to find and access entry to the Coastal Retreat. The number one reason we chose this place was to be close to the beach. It delivered! We were about 3 blocks from the beach and it was in an area with charming restaurants and sports rentals. Everyone we met (from neighbors to shop owners) were lovely. We did have some issues with the space though. The bed was uncomfortable (and noisy) so we didn't sleep well. The neighbor behind us would also turn on the light late at night (2am!) in a 2nd floor room which would shine into our bedroom. The beach chairs were in rough shape but maybe it was because it was the end of the season. There were no washcloths (to help wash sunscreen off). There was also no sugar for coffee that 1st morning so we had to walk to the corner store to get some for our stay. The store was very close but it was a nuisance to have to get dressed. We did not reach out to Rose about our issues while we were staying there. We were only there for 3 nights and we decided to concentrate on spending our days with family on the beach!
