"Overall, this is a very nice hotel, and our stay was enjoyable. The one thing that caused us problems was the heating and a/c unit. Our room was cold, and none of our temperature changes on the thermostat made any improvement. After several attempts on our own over several hours, we stopped at the front desk, mentioned the problem, and while we were out, the maintenance staff resolved the issue. I recommend some kind of written instructions be provided. The thermostat for this unit was unlike anything I’ve seen before, and it was not obvious which symbol should be selected to set the unit to heat the room. We appreciate the prompt response once the staff was notified of the situation."

"Large, clean room with new contemporary furnishings. Breakfast was not included and the restaurant maybe a bit expensive, but ingredients/food choices are all higher quality with fitness/health in mind."

"Very spacious, two wash hand basin in bathroom with separate shower and tub. Free/ Complimentary happy hour. Very clean and friendly staff. The name Grand Hotel supersedes the premises."
