"I imagine its just the age of the hotel showing and not so much the upkeep. We reserved this after showing up to 5 Themes and it being a room in the owners house. We weren’t comfortable staying there so we stayed here. It was the right decision. Definitely not a bad place and I won’t talk bad about it but I do think they could change a few things. "I don't want to say how lovely it was at this gite as I want to be able to book again when we're next in the area! Very friendly owners, around to help if needed otherwise they leave you alone. Huge flat gardens with lovely flowers/trees and shrubs. Plenty of garden furniture and places to sit and eat out, sunbathe or chill in the shade. "A lovely place to stay. We were on a trip to Bergerac and this was a one night stop so we didn't reallyhave a chance to experience the pool/spa, but the outside sitting areas were nice and being able to get wine and beer was really nice after a long drive. The hosts are every attentive, and although we can't speak french very well and their english was limited Google translate saved the day, especially at meal time when we sat with Celine and her family"
