"Our telephone calls were not answered when we arrived at the property. It was necessary to walk to the owners address to obtain access to the apartment. A lady took us to the apartment and gave us helpful information. We never did meet the owner Robert T. Being on the top floor we were plagued with seagulls on the roof at 03.00 every morning so a good nights sleep was impossible. The toilet was in a room no bigger than a cupboard with a large immersion heater directly over the toilet seat."

The documents and communications were all in French (we only speak English & Italian) as were the TV channels- no international options here. There was a £50 charge for the loan of towels & bedsheets, and another for the (nominal) cleaning needed after we vacated. On top of that the wifi (if the password isn't too long for your device- it was for my wife's phone) is more like 3/4 wifi. It kicks out often you...

"Rental is in a great location right in the center of town. There are tons of restaurants nearby, including many shops and ice cream shops. The views from the rental are amazing, you have the light house / canal right in front and the beach is right outside as well. The unit itself is modern and spacious. Highly recommend."

"Where do I even begin…This was one of the worst apartment I’ve ever booked. As soon as you walk in, the smell of urine and the sight of the dirty walls, floors, and couch catches your eyes and your smell immediately. The couch had tons of dark stains, who knows what that could’ve been. When we walked in to the bedroom, there was no sheets and you had to put them on yourself. The bathroom smelled disgusting. It really looks like this apartment hasn’t been cleaned in years. The kitchen does come...
