"The property is gorgeous, flowers and plants are mixed right into all areas. It's very well taken care of and the staff was amazing! They ensured that we were well taken care of during our time at the property. Oh and they even have a few parrots on property! The only slight ding on this review is that one of the two pools was being renovated while we were there. However, during our 5 night stay they basically completed the pool renovations. La Soleil doesn't leave things in an unusable state...

"The room was large and clean. The hotel was beautiful. However, the fan/light combo never worked together. We had to call the staff daily twice to get one or the other. It was a hassle though staff was sweet. Also, a mirror in the room and some hooks would have helped tremendously "

"Very close to the beach and an affordable alternative to hostels or more expensive hotels. I only have a couple small criticisms like needing more paving stones and hooks in the shower. Also never got to meet the owners. Lastly you pay cash when you get there. I assumed I paid Expedia when I booked and this led to a big misunderstanding. That was likely Expedia's fault for not alerting me to this. "
