Entire chalet for 12 people (11 adults) located in Plan de La Giettaz, recently renovated and rated 4 stars. It consists of:

Chalet Philomena is an old alpine farm built in 1828 and whose renovation combines old wood and contemporary décor. This charming chalet can accommodate up to 12 people including 11 adults. It is located at an altitude of 1350m, in the heart of the Aravis massif, in the village-resort of Plan de La Giettaz.
Located opposite the blue slope "La Tréfléannaise" which leads back to the ski lifts, the chalet is less than 5 minutes from them by car or ski-in/ski-out. The chalet is bordered by a stream that supplies it with running water and a torrent (Le Jaillet) flows which allows you to cool off in the summer

It is located away from the main road that crosses the village of La Giettaz to link La Clusaz or Megève (Col des Aravis), so you will appreciate the calm that surrounds it and the omnipresent greenery of the surrounding spruces.

The village and its shops are 5 minutes away by car, the Col des Aravis and its restaurants are 15 minutes away by car.
The most beautiful hikes in the village pass at the foot of the property, no need to take your car for this.

The property is accessible by all types of vehicle. The first private car park at the foot of the property can accommodate 3 vehicles.
The chalet is perched at the top of the property, where a second car park can accommodate 2 other vehicles, but only if they have 4-wheel drive (the private path of around a hundred metres between the lower and upper car parks requires the use of a 4-wheel drive vehicle, failing which holidaymakers can use the property's Can-Am vehicle free of charge to "lift" between the lower part of the property and the chalet, which is very useful for bringing up shopping, skis, etc....).
The loan of the 6-seater Can-Am (3 in front, 3 behind) by the owners is subject to an additional security deposit of €2,000 (see the chalet's official website for full details and descriptions).

Booking conditions :
Pay 30% deposit at the time of booking, the balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Cancellation policy:
. Free if you cancel more than 16 weeks before the arrival date.
· 8 weeks to 16 weeks prior to arrival: 30% fee applies
· Less than 8 weeks prior to arrival: no refund
