"I have stayed here previously and it’s a great hotel. The day of our stay there was a massive storm that cut room power. We still had elevators and hallway lighting. We were out about 8 hours until they brought in a generator on a semi. Otherwise it’s a nice hotel in a great location and a good price point. "

"We stayed for 2 nights a a short city break earlier this week. We do this often and this hotel was very impressive. From the moment we entered, the staff were great! The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was beautifully presented and with a great choice. The only complaint i would have was that the hot food breakfast items were barely warm. It wouldn't stop me from booking again tho!"

"I stayed at the Universal for 11 nights. My room was clean, the sheets and blankets as good as new, and attended to every day. It was quiet with no traffic noise and the occasional sounds from other rooms stopped at a reasonable hour. The staff were all friendly, helpful and simpatico. The hotel is in an excellent location about 8 minutes walk to the Cathedral the heart of historic Murcia. The Universal is completely unpretentious, great value for money and I will definitely return."
