Cute bungalows but pretty basic.
My friend and I stayed in the bungalows, which were very cute and the tropical garden outside was beautiful. The view of the volcano was amazing from our front porch. The hotel was in a good location, it seemed to be in the middle and close to La Fortuna.
The rooms were pretty basic, nothing fancy. I did find my bed to be too soft and I could feel the springs in my back. The lighting was very dim too. But the A/C worked pretty well. However, the shower was touch and go. There was warm water but the water pressure was very soft and at times, minimal. One night, the water just kind of drizzled out.
At night, you could hear all the bugs and animals outside your bungalow. It actually felt like they were in the room. I'm a light sleeper, so it was kind of hard for me to fall asleep to all the bug noises (I had to use earplugs). At one point, my friend said it sounded like there were animals having a party on our roof. Haha...
The staff was nice and friendly. And they offer a free breakfast every morning that was actually quite good! Every morning they had something different and a lot of variety. The pool area was nice but the pool chairs were horrible.
I would recommend this place because of the location and the price was not too bad. We did not spend that much time in our room anyway.
