"The cottage itself is well equipped with quality furnishings and equipment. Put together thoughtfully and stylishly by the charming owners. Unfortunately there is no green outdoor space as it's built on the gravel driveway entrance to the owners house, close to the local urban road and a main road. We went into the owners garden once to use their pool and were warmly welcomed. Overall this is a fabulous option for overnight stays or if you plan to be out driving every day. "This property exceeded all of our expectations! It was clean, extremely well-equipped for children, and spacious. The beds were firm and comfortable. Our host Claire was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The pool is heated and Claire takes great care of it. There is also a games room outside (archery, darts, ping pong) and toys and books for the children - when they get tired of visiting the friendly goats! Throughout the visit the owners communicated with us to ensure pool maintenance etc was not intrusive. A required repair was dealt with speedily and efficiently. The house is large with large grounds in a rural setting. The pool was heated to 26 degrees and maintained by the owner. It was the focus of our visit with the children and grandchildren.
