"Such a lovely, if brief, stay! Our host Isabelle was incredibly kind and not only accommodated a last minute check in but early breakfast for us so we could hit the nearby Ogliss water park early. The fire is beautifully appointed, with vibrant art nouveau features which have been restored with loving care and vibrant flair. Ours was only a brief stopover but we’d love to come back for longer next time. Merci Isabelle and Marc!"

We used it for a one night stay (as a break in a long journey) and we arrived fairly late in the day, we learned later,after the time the reception normally closed but the staff were there to welcome us. "Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."
