"This was such a cozy, clean, welcoming little cabin in a quiet valley only a 10-minute drive (at most) into Viroqua. Lovely big table for crafts, puzzles, knitting, games, or just sitting and chatting! Tons of natural light!!Word of caution that most of the extra beds are upstairs, so people sleeping upstairs should be comfortable climbing the ladder.I would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Jake and Becky, for sharing your slice of paradise with us and for being such welcoming hosts! Little cup of cocoa for the soul. "

"My room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Having a fridge and microwave was great. The breakfast was ok. A piece of fruit would have been nice."

We walked around the pond in the new-fallen snow, cooked some delicious meals, enjoyed the spacious hot tub, and most importantly, hung out in the living room in front of the fireplace - lovely! We will be returning!"

"Was pleasantly surprised how the property improved from a visit over a year ago. The room didn't smell of smoke, heat regulation was great, and service was excellent! Was surprised to see that our car was the only one at 9pm, but later saw several others enter. They missed out on a great breakfast though!"
