"This rental was listed as having two bathrooms. It does NOT. There is one toilet and located within one of the bedrooms so guests in the other bedroom do not have access without going through the other bedroom. The bedroom without a toilet only has a shower. To enter the property you have to drive over a narrow, hazardous, wood plank bridge, difficult to do when a car is parked across the street. A dirty plunger was sitting on the bathroom shelf. "The property is tired. The Kitchens repainted grey pine units are wearing. The Bathroom and Toilet have sanitary wear dating back to the 1960's. There is a feeling that while the equipment and furniture provided is plentiful it is all enjoying at least a second life here. The garden is uncared for. "Our second time at Xavier's house. The niggles from last year have mostly been addressed, except the fan in the bathroom. A very pleasant 2 weeks with glorious sunshine throughout. The dogs remembered the villa straight away and were very settled in the garden. Although we had neighbours in the front house this time, parking for a car each was not a problem. Able to visit all of our old haunts in western Provence, and a few new ones. We will be back again - maybe not next year - but soon."

Unlike other vacation homes, this one is truly someone's residence, so it contained many personal effects down to the homeowner's own hair products.
