Anne was a gracious and warm host that made us feel comfortable immediately and had suggestions what to do in the area. The food was outstanding. One of the best places we’ve stayed at in over 30 years of travel. We stayed 4 days, wish we could’ve stayed longer. "

Feels very relaxing and is ideal for seeing the Dordogne area. Owners are lovely and very helpful with suggestions for where to visit. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. ONE WARNING - this property does not accept credit cards, however there is an ATM nearby."

"An amazing place tucked away in the countryside but conveniently located for lots of the area’s attractions. We came in late Sept and the weather was warm enough for us to picnic our evening meal on the terrace in peace and quiet. The hosts are brilliant nothing is too much trouble and spent time explaining the best places to go. The rooms are of a really high standard and decorated impressively. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. "

I don't think I've ever felt so 'at home' away from home and the commitment and passion to making every guest feel very welcome is obvious. I hope to return one day and hope Sur Le Chemin, is not completely booked up!"

"This was the second time we stayed at gite la grave haute sud and it was just as amazing as the previous time. It’s a great spacious house with a beautiful garden and view. Very calm and private nook in the lovely Dordogne. The location is perfect if you want to discover everything the Dordogne has to offer or even for a day trip to Bordeaux. Felix was as attentive and nice as ever. We definitely want to visit a third time! "

"We were greeted very warmly by Philippe and his wife, and they offered us coffee when we arrived. We were then shown around the accommodation and given details of the surrounding area and attractions. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was perfect for our break and in a very quiet area, but easy to find. Nothing was too much trouble for Philippe during our stay which we enjoyed immensely. We hope to return next year, and would definitely stay here again. "
