The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "

Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. "Please stay at this wonderful chambre d’hote. Roxi is the perfect host and you can really tell that she has put her heart and soul into this lovely house. The bedroom we had was amazing and had everything you need including a huge jacuzzi!!! Perfect place to enjoy the town of Verteuil sur Charente. Fresh eggs included in great breakfast. We will be back!!!"
