"The 'La Petite Salamandre' guest house in the countryside is an absolutely delightful place to stay, surrounded by so many castles to visit in the area! "This place is a little gem, nested in the countryside with a fantastic vibe. The host is extremely kind and clearly made a great work with the place, the room was perfect for my family of 4 and we all loved the stay. The breakfast was definitely the best in our month-long vacation in France. When going again to the Loire valley, I'd definitely be coming back a La Source de Bury to use as a base to visit the many castles in the area."

"This property is like a B&B located in a village. It is a well maintained property with a large beautiful backyard, even a pond. The host is very helpful and kindly enough to make a phone call for me to have a dinner reservation in a local restaurant. Thank you, Caroline! "

"Not what we expected very surprised to find loo and bathroom on ground floor and shared with all inhabitants of the house. So surprised during a pandemic that only used things to a minimum also no hand gel provided. Do not feel house was made to be a BnB more like barging into someone's private house."

"A most charming facility tucked away in a tiny village close to Chateau Chambord. André and Nicole are wonderful hosts. Breakfasts were a perfect start for the days of exploring the other chateaux in the area. We highly recommend it. "

The meal we had in the restaurant was absolutely delicious! All five of us loved our meals! We also used the barbecue one night to cook out. The gite had everything we needed to prepare a meal. We had a great experience here!!"

"A comfortable, clean, charming escape, with country quiet, proximity to Loire Valley castles, and food shopping. Bucolic and perfectly landscaped, with welcoming hosts. Two small things: (1) a surprise 75 euro cleaning fee on top of vrbo charges (announced after confirmation/deposit) and (2) no Wi-Fi or phone service (the owner is addressing this)."
