"We stayed here for six nights and would definitely stay again. The gite is exactly as it was portrayed in the photos. Julie, our host, was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The gite was comfortable with everything needed for two people. We loved sitting out on the terrace and looking out over the river while having breakfast or an Apero. Ein richtiges Zuhause! Zum Willkommen stand ein Korb mit Produkten aus der Gegend parat. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. "Lovely gite really good , a lovely quiet place to stay . Bertrand our host was very welcoming even showing us the caves in the garden. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very good we had a lot of rain , but we still enjoyed our stay."

"A lovely holiday. The gite has a beautiful garden to sit in and is equipped to a very good standard.A warm welcome from René and Nicole on our arrival. We came to see the Châteaux of the Loire and there were many located very close to the gite. We didn't realise from the description that the bathroom was on a different floor to the bedrooms. This wasn't a problem for us, but could have been for others."

The surroundings are hard to beat too - we explored local vineyards, castles and swimming lakes as well as lovely Chinon a short drive away. We wish we could have stayed longer - we would love to return and tick more off the list!"
