"We had a very relaxing stay at Bretignolles. We loved the property, it was clean and comfortable. The garden was a perfect spot for soaking up the sun. Being able to walk to the beach was a real bonus. Our hosts were very welcoming and we managed to communicate despite our language differences. We would highly recommend this property. Perhaps clearer instructions as to the position as we did have some difficulty finding it, but this was a minor issue."

"Great location, very quiet and so well equipped. Everything you need, apart from a washing machine. Beds were comfortable and we had no issue. Easy to get to. I was surprised there was no communication as to what to do with the keys on check out day despite sending a text to the owner. "We spent a week in this lovely seaside village and had a pleasant stay in the area. The house is nicely located with satisfactory and simple furnishings.The owner advertises the house with amenities such as free usage of bicycles, which are basically in an unrideable state and not only because of their flat tires. Again, we had a pleasant stay which was overshadowed by nasty interactions with the owner. In short: The owner was not very welcoming and inviting when we arrived at the premises....

"This is NOT a hotel! The front desk explained that it is a condo rental. That means you do not get any cleaning, even with a8 night stay. And you get 1 bath towel, nothing else. No replacement towels, and no hand towel or washcloths. And you get 1 roll of toilet paper, then you have to buy it yourself. Having said that, the front desk staff was very helpful, when they were present. And it is only 1 block to the beach. If you have a larger rental car, beware of the enclosed parking spaces...
