"Amazing property, the staff was so charming and nice all the way. The views in every corner are just so beautiful for amazing pictures and a sitdown with a glass of the Vernaccia Wine from there own Vineyard. I highly recommend the hotel and definitely will be back."

"Beautiful property. We did horseback riding which was a highlight and the cooking class was fantastic. The pool was relaxing and beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable- literally felt like home!! We would go there again for sure. Incredibly relaxing experience."

"This was an absolute highlight of our trip. The castle is beautiful and incredibly well kept. The proprietor visited our table one morning, at the beautiful breakfast they offered, and gave us some fantastic history of the property and the upgrades she has made to the castle and the grounds. Nothing short of excellent!"

"A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. We arranged a vespa rental and rode through the countryside to the nearby Castellina in Chianti and cute hilltop town and took a wonderful cooking class at Taverna...

"What an amazing place! Volpaia is a unique venue, in a beautiful setting and it was a joy to stay there. Our room was lovely- comfortable, clean and with a stunning view- even from the loo! "This is an extremely lovely property. The grounds are beautiful. There is parking and a pool. Lots of little areas to sit and relax. The attention to detail is appreciated. Love the decor. The staff is helpful and the breakfast was very good! I highly tecommend! . "

"Ya habia estado volvi porque me encanto pero ahora no es igual el desayuno muy pobre , y la habitacion era chica e incomodo para or al baño con escalones de por medio y no estaba todo disponible para ver como por ejemplo la capilla y la sala de recepciones … y ademas el testing era free y ahora no , lamento de ir todo esto pero es verdad . "Great Staff, good continental breakfast options. Property is associated w/ a good small winery. Location is down a gravel farm road for about 1/3 of a mile from the local paved road. It's not a big deal, just be aware. There is ample parking in a gravel lot. Lots of good outdoor covered space but unfortunately during our 3 day stay, it was rainy. the view across the valley is San Gimignano. We found it a good base for driving the Tuscany region. "The service at this hotel was impeccable. We were running late for our wine tasting but they were still SO accommodating! The rooms were beautiful and the view from the hotel are amazing.
