The property has a small agricultural activity - notably the olive harvest - and some animals (horses, chickens, guinea fowl, dogs, cats, etc.)
Several terraces with views of the surrounding countryside as well as the flower-filled patio are all ideal for al fresco dining or simply for relaxing under the shade of our pergola of eucalyptus branches.
The swimming pool (4m x 8m) is perfect for cooling off during the hot Andalusian afternoons.
The main living room is a huge 60m2 space with a cathedral style -ceiling and a beautiful fireplace. There is a large dinig table suitable for meals with family and friends, and a large lounge area furnished with sofas, armchairs and rocking chairs.
The kitchen is very well equipped - hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, dishwasher - for those who would like to prepare meals using local products. The wooden counter is the perfect place to have breakfast enjoying the morning sun with the view out onto the patio. There is a washing machine located in a seperate laundry room.
The house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is ideal for 8 people but has enough sleeping space to comfortably accommodate 10 people.
A short walk takes you to the village of Las Pinedas - a small hamlet with white houses typical of the Andalusian countryside. You will find a church, a grocery store and the village bar where you can have a drink or taste some local cuisine while the elders play their games of dominoes!
The city of Cordoba is a 20 minute drive away, a visit to the Mézquita of Cordoba (the largest mosque in the Western world, now a cathedral) is a must, as is the old town and the flowered patios.
Visiting other emblematic cities of Andalusia - Seville, Granada, Malaga, Ronda, Jaen - is possible in a day thanks to easy access to the A4 motorway. Seville airport is less than an hour by car, Córdoba train station 25 minutes.
