"Charming spot is as described, stone house with a brook running behind. Stayed in early March so the house had to be heated by the wood stove fairly constantly. Some wood was provided but we had to go up the hill to fill a wheelbarrow for another load. Internet access was sketchy at times. A weak signal. "No communications. Hidden costs, held to ransom after arrival to get keys. Dirty And worst of all no bed sheets , pillow cases or duvet covers. When asked where they were was told not listed in ad and hung up on. Agreed the listing didn’t say bedding included but didn’t say it wasn’t and for the expensive cost I would have expected it. This is basically a PGL style bunk house. Avoid at all costs."

"We stayed as a family of 4, with two teenagers. Plenty of space for all of us. Children had their own room each and upstairs bathroom. Excellent location for Caen and Bayeux. "Catherine and Jean-Luc were lovely hosts, they welcomed us warmly on our arrival. The accommodation in the basement of their home was very clean , the bed was very comfortable and had all that we needed. Although there is no kitchen, the microwave and fridge were available to us in the adjacent garage.
