There were chipped tiles, patchy paint jobs, broken/loose floor skirts, bathtub cracks among other issues. These maintenance issues detract from the overall enjoyment of the stay. "We really loved the unique decor of the hotel. The room was a good size, the hotel was very clean overall, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also appreciated available parking within their gated premises. Entry was a bit tricky, mostly because it right off a traffic circle and as our auto navigation tried to take us around the back where you cannot get in. Only negative is there are very few restaurants within walking distance."

"Decent, clean, older apartment building. Hard to find as not along the road but you have to walk a couple of minutes along a narrow driveway to find it. Friendly, helpful staff, Harry in particular."

"We stayed here to splurge on activities and food, but it was simply not worth it. We almost canceled and booked another hotel on night 1 but it was non refundable. Very hot — very hot. No AC or it doesn’t work. Very dirty. I didn’t allow myself to walk barefoot around. Stains on the bed frame. Mold in the shower. It’s far from everything. Overall bad experience "
