"Before I booked I read all the reviews and there were those who hated the place and those who obviously loved it so I decided to give it a go. We have a house on the coast so at worst we could have driven back home. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The Fonda is situated right in the centre of a pleasant village and the reception was manned. We were offered a choice of a 1st or 2nd floor room and chose the 1st floor.The room simply furnished with bright blue woodwork and really gorgeous...

"The views from the apartment were amazing, you could see the mountains. The apartment was very clean and neat. We had 2 washrooms which was amazing for us, as we were 5 people. The necessities were also very handy. Heating system also worked really amazing as it was very cold and chilly at night. The area was very calm and green, restaurants could be found by walking 6-10 minutes from the apartment. Checkin was very smooth too. It definitely lived up to our expectations."

"The views from the apartment were amazing, you could see the mountains. The apartment was very clean and neat. We had 2 washrooms which was amazing for us, as we were 5 people. "Friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was a good spread with delicious breads, fruits, meats, cheeses, etc. room had a good shower and updated bathroom with a lovely mountain view. My only negative during my stay was the carpet in the room could have been nicer-there were footprints and stains on it. Also room had a strong perfume smell I could have done without. "

What a friendly find with everything right there.

"Le Clos Cerdan is a great place to stay because everything is right there. The rooms are very freshly redone and spacious with artful lighting. They have a bar and restaurant so no need to drive anywhere, and the view is spectacular. We had a rainy few days so the steam room and sauna were a treat when it was too cold to walk outside. There's also plenty of parking. Next time we'll bring our tennis rackets!"

Nice hotel in the middle of town

"This hotel is nicely sited within view of many local stores so it very convenient. The Argentine girl on the reception was a delight to speak to regarding the unusual hobby of me and my co-guest. Best of all is staying during April as the rooms cost next to nothing as the ski season is over. The only negative is the room I was in had an audible plumbing type noise from behind the wall which continued through the night."
