"The worst hotel that has no management at all. Our room was taken by someone else when we arrived, we were told it was someone’s mistake at midnight, so we were sent to another hotel which had no promised parking lot available, also there wasn’t any water cup in the room, ridiculous and we need to get our money refunded."

"The room was perfectly acceptable in this hostel and the hostel is right on one of the nicest beaches in the area. Luxury and bellmen offering drinks on the beach is not what this hostel is about. "Great hotel, with friendly staff. Really good value and the breakfasts were good. Ideally positioned in the old town away from the noise of the bars at the far end of the resort, and only a minute or two to the beach. The area is beautiful and even being the world Cup final weekend (which I didn't realise when I booked it!) it wasn't too loud or rowdy. Very pleasantly surprised by both the hotel and the resort. Stayed for 5 nights with 2 friends."

"Overall the accomodation was ok, nothing amazing but comfy enough, it does need some attention however. The major downside was the 'spa' facilities and the communication from the very rude staff members. The sauna and gym were closed due to Covid-19, this is understandable but there was no mention of this online, and I tried calling beforehand to ask but no one answered. Then the 'hot tub' was in fact freezing cold, and all the staff could say was "That's how it's always been, it's never been...

Amazing view

"The Hostalilo hotel offers a pleasant experience with a stunning view that allows guests to fully enjoy the surroundings. A comfortable stay in Girona

"The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and very clean. It is a 10 minute walk to the old town and a 5 minute walk to the train station. The neighborhood has cafes and stores, including a supermarket a few paces from the front door. Clean towels every three days, no coffee/kettle in the room, but otherwise perfectly acceptable."

"Wonderful property that's close to old town site seeing but not loud that can happen if you're in the middle of everything. Being on top of the hill has the advantage of best place to see the city below and sunset from the beautiful roof top terrace over the mountains on the other side of the city. The location also can make it a bit difficult to walk bach to hotel as other reviews have noted. It's not that bad and if needed you can stop to catch your breath on one of the walls. It is a very short walk to the shops and restaurants down in the old town area. Everything was well cared for and clean. They have an online restaurant and bar so you don't need to head down again if you want to stay there in the evening. Area seems safe and is residential so no need to worry about being out late at night. Highly recommend this modern friendly hotel!"
