"We chose this property as it is close to my friends appartment and we were visiting for Xmas. We loved the area and it is very convenient for getting all over Barcelona. The flat is very basic and quite clean, although the blankets smelt sour so we did not use them. The flat in general could do with a bit more love and attention. The front door does not stay locked unless you double lock the chub lock. No hooks to hang wet towels on, the pillows were not comfortable and only 1 towel per person...

"The suite was as it was described and depicted online. Clean, conveniently located, fully equipped with kitchen appliances, blow dryer and iron. Contact staff were friendly and reliable at check-in. There were many stairs to climb, which could be difficult if you have mobility issues, and some sewer gas smells at times, but over all, we were very happy with our choice. La climatisation dans la villa Julia est très appréciable après une journée de promenade. Pour aller à Barcelone : 5 minutes de voiture jusqu'à la gare puis le train jusqu'au centre-ville. Pas besoin de chercher un parking en ville, pas d'embouteillage ! De très bonnes vacances."

"It’s obvious the host is trying to avoid multiple listing fees. This property is not two units as advertised and rather one apartment. There is no separate room for the sofa double bed. It’s in the middle of the kitchen. We were initially planning on having every adult have a separate bed but ended up having to make every one share mattresses, which was not what we wanted.
