"We had an amazing stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, they accommodated our room requests and gave us a bottle of fizz in the room for my partner's birthday. Great variety of foods and restaurants and beautiful location. The place could do with an update but it is adequate for a 3*."

"The Volcan is a lovely resort with very good staff and service. I gave it only four stars for several reasons. The food was very bland and boring and we ate in the restaurant at night just twice in 11 nights. Apparently there was another restaurant on site but it was closed. "One of the most gorgeous huge hotels we have ever stayed at!! Modern deco. Loads of space everywhere. Never felt crowded. Stunning views & easy walk (10 mins to the main town) & beach (5 mins). Rooms are beautifully appointed. Buffet area large & tastefully decorated. Might be a little short on staff some days ... But not a complaint. Love that they don't charge for sparkling water!!!"
