"I’m not the biggest fan of resort hotels but this place had class. Beautiful design and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Its a wonderfully quiet spot of the promenade but near to all the restaurants."

"This is primarily a gay hotel but all are welcome. That said, the large mural showing a line of buffed and handsome men in swimming trunks was not quite what we saw lying around the pool, but perhaps they come in the summer. Verified traveler

Not much of a town, from the tourist point of view. Views marred by the acres of plastic sheathed banana greenhouses. Porto de Aldea is small and pretty. Drive up to Arternara was amazing, though a bit hair-raising at moments.
