"Villa Tonka was incredible in every way- the view, the hospitality of the host, Charles-Henry, the pool, the cleanliness, and everything in between. The property is located about 10 minutes up a winding mountain, so we would highly suggest renting a car. "We stayed here for 16 nights in Nov/Dec and thoroughly enjoyed the accomodations. The house is about 90 minutes to 2 hours from the nicer beaches on the south end of the island, so having a private pool at our disposal was wonderful. It does take about 10-12 minutes to reach the house once you turn off the main road, and it is uphill all the way! However, that just made the views all the more breathtaking.
