"We loved our stay here. It really is like staying in a castle. Definitely go for the view rooms if one is available. The breakfast was plentiful and full of choices unique to Greece. Plan to have a drink at the bar. Don’t stay here if you have difficulty with climbing. Lots of steep stone stairs."

"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The area is gorgeous!! One can walk everywhere. I loved the view of the Rock from the balcony. The beds were not very comfortable. I had great difficulty finding it at night as the sign is difficult to see in the dark."

"This hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few metres from the beach (pebbly). Breakfast can be taken at their terrace on the beach (breakfast superb!) overlooking the rock. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. The room was big, if a little dated, but very very clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning and a terrace. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. The bathroom is small, but sparkingly clean and functional, with plenty of hot water. When we had a faulty light fitting one evening the staff were very quick to respond and even at 8 pm the faulty fitting was replaced without any fuss. We cannot fault this hotel and would definately recommend. "

"Incredibly charming hotel! When I arrived the lady at the front desk explained that only 2 out of 3 rooms I’d booked were ready, but she very quickly chatted with one of the cleaning ladies and got it ready within 5 minutes. Very seamless check in, and the rooms are soooo cool! They are all very different from one another each with their own charm. The rooms have small kitchenettes with a few beverages for guests. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to visit Monemvasia. It is also quite close to the front gate so it is ideal for those who don’t want to walk too far to find their hotel."
