The elevated position meant that there was nearly always a good breeze to keep us cool, and we had very little trouble from mosquitoes - we often just had the windows open at night, though there was the option of air-conditioning. "This is a beautifully restored traditional house in a stunning mountain village, very close to all the climbing areas in "Manikia". Extremely well equipped, with all basic supplies, and lovely gifts of olive oil, wine, eggs, and homemade cake on arrival. There is a little seating area outside where you can sit and watch the comings and goings of village life.
