"Munkebo is a lovely place. However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. The receptionist was not very responsive when I asked if only upstairs was available but continued to just walk upstairs. "The property is gorgeous. The surrounding areas to hike are so beautiful. Lego land was fun. I prefer no contact entry but it was nice to talk and check in with the owner. The beds and spot to sleep upstairs are not good for anyone over 5’5 inches you will hit your head. The shower was very small. I would have preferred a detailed check in / check out procedure. The TV did not work. The outside of Denmark was gorgeous. I prefer a little bit more space. Otherwise the place was cute but also a...
