"Our stay here was wonderful. Two adults and 2 children in a traditional room. Beautiful onsen area (male/female) which our girls loved. Staff very helpful even though not much English spoken it didn’t cause a problem. Great location to walk into town. My daughter left her iPad in a cupboard and the hotel kindly sent it onto our next location. They went above and beyond. Highly recommended!"

"Very enjoyable experience. Loved Kusatsu and La Vista was a great place to stay with shuttle busses running through the day to both the bus stops and down town. "

"The staff was really nice. We got free milk and it was only ¥100 for extra bottles if milk, which are a MUST when taking an onsen. We had a private onsen in our room, but there were also public onsen in the hotel! Everything was super clean and the hotel is located close to the bus-terminal."

"We loved it here. The resort is amazing. The room was a good size. The view was fantastic. Close to the Yubatake, Kusatsu Gate foot bath, restaurants, and markets. They have a free shuttle to the center of town, Yubatake. Also, a shuttle to the bus stop when you go back. Plus, the free big onsen is amazing. You can also use two other hotels' onsens, but Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Resort's is the biggest and nicest. They provide a yukata for use while you're there, which is nice if you want to take pictures outside in a yukata. The staff are all super friendly and nice. We loved this place."

"Absolutely loved our story here. If you book here, get the Sora room. It is worth it. It has its own private bath and lots of space. We loved it. And the town surrounding, is so cute and fun to walk around. It is a short walk from the bus when you arrive. The staff was so welcoming and sweet. We highly recommend staying here. "
