"Great location, very attentive staff. Parking was very easy as you can pay for your stay and have in/out privileges. Entering the parking lot from the back road was a little more difficult since it is narrow and busy during the daytime"

"The room is tiny but well thought out and you don’t spend much time in the room anyways! The amazing breakfast buffet more than makes up for it! The breakfast had such a huge selection-even after 5 days, it was never boring. The only thing I would add is more fruit!"

"I loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly to my husband and sister and I. The breakfast was delicious, I loved how I was able to have a wonderful Japanese traditional breakfast. It was also very convenient to walk to Kumamoto Castle. It was very quiet, spacious, clean, and I felt safe! I will be staying again! "

"This was advertised as having a kitchen. Kitchen facilities are in another building that are communal. The other option is to rent a gas burner. Everything is extra (e.g. trash, gas burner). Heater for room kept turning off. Barely enough space for 3 futons. Japanese communal bathrooms near bungalows, western style in main building. We only stayed one of the two nights booked even though we did not get a refund."
