"Downtown Bryan was the perfect location to unwind after a long day of driving and helping our daughter move into her dorm at TAMU. The apartment is nostalgic and nicely furnished. It is surrounded by good restaurants as well. The hosts were responsive and getting into the unit was easy. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We ABSOLUTELY LOVED the Satchmo! We were in town to film a wedding (we are professional videographers & photographers) and we even used some of our time at the Satchmo to do a themed photo shoot of us as well - perfect for that vintage vibe or to host a few friends! Super convenient to restaurants & bars plus we totally loved the historic building with high- ceilings, original hardwood floors, New Orleans style decor PLUS a CLAWFOOT TUB w/ shower! Beautiful bay windows that overlook downtown....

"Stayed here while spending a week as a TAMU guest faculty. Easy walk to campus and nearby shops/restaurants. Plenty safe for walking in the evening. The apartment was accurately represented in the listing. Plenty of towels, kitchen items, and generous supplies of coffee, soaps for the DW and laundry machine. I'd rent again! "

"My husband and I and our dog had a great time staying here for a wedding weekend. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It looked to be pretty recently renovated and was decorated in a really cute funky 70’s style. It was on the first floor of a quad-plex, which made it easy taking the dog outside for walks. The location is convenient, within pretty easy walking distance to the bars at Northgate and a long-ish but very do-able walk to Kyle Field and the rest of campus. My only complaint...

"This is a little hidden gem! Looks just like the pictures and very cozy and comfortable. You can definitely see the description of "transitioning neighborhood" when you drive up, but GREAT location and felt safe, no problem! I drive a Ford F350 long bed and the parking is a bit tight, but if everyone parks in their spot and straight, it's not a problem.The beds are definitely COMFY!! You can hear the music from Northgate, but didn't bother us. When you are up until 3am, not much is going to...
