The view from the deck of this top floor condo is incredible, you can see the shoreline go on forever! If you love to people watch, the beach is right there in front of you. The walkway from your condo to the beach is next to the building, and you are literally just steps away from the sand. Imagine yourself enjoying your morning coffee while watching the sun rise over the Atlantic. Or perhaps you prefer late afternoon drinks on the deck. Either way, you'll quickly settle in to island time and love it!

This condo has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and sleeps eight. The primary suite has sliders that open out to the deck and a comfy king-size bed with new mattress. The living room is large enough for all of you and has a flat screen Smart TV and Wi-Fi. There is a beautiful fireplace with shiplap surround. The kitchen has everything you'll need except your food. It has just been completely renovated with all new custom cabinetry, granite counter tops, beautiful subway backsplash and a new oven! The entire kitchen, dining and living area has been re-painted, and beautiful warm flooring has been installed throughout the space. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Both bathrooms have been updated as well, with new vanities and flooring. You will have two covered parking spaces out of the sun and one additional space during your stay. You will also have complete access to three outdoor pools in the summer and a fully equipped Rec Center year round right across the street. It has a heated indoor pool, whirlpool sauna, exercise room, tennis courts, a basketball court, shuffleboard court, and a playground for the kids. We also provide a good amount of household supplies for your stay and a storage bin for all your beach gear.

Come stay with us, and you'll be glad you did! Activities close by include: the Kure Beach Pier, the Carolina Beach boardwalk, the NC Aquarium, the Fort Fisher Civil War museum, or hop on the ferry and stroll around Southport. Kure Beach has a skate park and a disc golf course. The town park also has a new playground, tennis courts, and soccer field.

Great Views of the Ocean!

This was our first time in Kure Beach, and our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We unfortunately had to endure Tropical Storm Debby most of the week, but we made the most of it. We loved how easy it was to get onto the beach and the views from the deck were breathtaking. We also took advantage of the condo amenities like the indoor/outdoor pools and rec center. We enjoyed the quiet charm of Kure Beach, but it's also nice that you can get to Carolina Beach in about 10-15 minutes if you're looking for more to do.

We came down for a quick getaway and loved our stay. The view off the deck cannot be beat. All beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well outfitted. Great Location, OK property

The location of the condo is great, you can't get any closer to the beach. We loved the deck. While the unit is well stocked, it is showing it's age, especially the sofa - it was very uncomfortable to sit on.

It is a totally renovated living space. You feel like you are on the ocean's doorstep. The condo was clean and the property manager was quick to follow up on any questions we had. We have a family of five and there was plenty of space for one grown adult son and his two teenage brothers.

Kitchen was very well stocked- the only suggestion would be to have a few open cabinets to put food, but we just rearranged and then put it back on our departure. It was well stocked with supplies so def check it out before you goTo the store. The view was the living room and bedroom was gorgeous.

Beautiful Views and Convenient Location

My family really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Dunes. I traveled with my husband, 3 year old daughter, and mother-in-law. The home was an amazing location, convenient to so many restaurants, the Aquarium, ferry to Southport, the boardwalk.. I could go on. The week we chose was awesome because school isn’t out yet and the beach was still not too crowded. The home was equipped with everything we needed. Although, we were a bit disappointed with a few things. First, the rec center was under renovations. The gym was completely closed all week and they had piles of trash and crap all over and around the indoor pool. This was disappointing because my husband and I had plans on working out. We would have liked to just be informed this was the case and could have planned accordingly. We were not happy with this surprise. Second, the outdoor pool closest to our condo closed the middle of the day on Tuesday with a sign on the gate that the electrician was on the way and it would be fixed quickly. It was still out of order when we checked out on Saturday. Walking the extra distance to the further pools was difficult and a struggle with my toddler and older mother-in-law. We chose this unit for it’s convenience to the beach access and close location to the pool. With a toddler who is just potty training being so far from our condo at the furtherst pool was annoying. Lastly, the DVD player in the unit was not functioning and the back deck had 2 boards pop up that made it a bit scary to have our kid walking around out there. I don’t want it to seem like we didn’t enjoy our stay or the condo, but there were a few things to be desired.

Lovely time in a great apartment

Here's our experience staying there:- The pre-check-in communications from the management company were very clear and informative.- The check in procedure was very easy with no issues getting in.- The apartment had everything we needed to spend a week there: cooking utensils, cookware, plenty of cups, glasses and dishes. Nice clean sheets and plenty of towels for a family of 5 people to stay there.- While we encountered a hurricane the first day we were there, the property did not receive any damage while several near-by buildings had severe damages.- Few times that we needed to call maintenance (to find out if there is a timeline for power to be turned on due to hurricane), the maintenance answered right away and called back shortly with the information from the power company.- Apartment had plenty of hot water and good pressure to take showers.- Proximity to the beach is great and overall location is excellent being away from the commercial part of the city.- Overall everyone had great time staying there. Definitely planning on coming back next year!
