"We stayed here for two nights, before and after our Tongariro Crossing trip. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Check in and communication was straightforward. The ear plugs left on the table came in handy as the property is located next to a fairly busy road and trucks transporting cars stop and do their driver change-over next to it. Also the carpet in the room could do with a refresh as it does not smell very nice."

"Great accommodations. Near good restaurants, within driving distance from Tongariro (our reason for visiting this area), clean, comfortable beds. Only drawback is that there's only one bathroom for two couples. However, the toilet is in its own room - separate from the shower, but with a sink for hand-washing in each room. That made this facility workable for us. Highly recommend."

"Very welcoming host and great directions given. A few tweaks would make the place more comfortable as it is maybe time for an update of some of the appliances and streamline what furniture is required in the room so it would be a little more spacious. A tea towel would be a handy addition in the kitchen. Overall a lovely quiet clean and tidy place to stay. Much appreciated, thanks Jeremy."

"We arrived at night, and the unit was welcoming and warm. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Can i suggest some new pillows please? While the pillow cases and protective covers were good, the pillows themselves had seen better days and were flat and/or a bit lumpy in one instance. I would also suggest the tatty plastic table cloth be updated. Thank you for having us, your unit was just right for the three of us. Kind regards, Kaylene Young"

"A great location - could see the Taupo sign from our balcony! It was such a cool little place and had a really spacious living area. We were very happy with our stay ☺️ I wouldn’t recommend for young children/babies that are crawling/ just walking however and there are steep stairs with no door/gate."
