"Really liked the Victoria Suite. Si roomy and a very different experience to a boring hotel room. Loved the claw foot bath. Would have loved bath oils. The fresh milk for tea/coffee was a lovely touch. Will definitely recommend."

Great place for a pit stop
"We stayed here as stop between the north and Alps of the South Island. The host left great instructions, but I did struggle to find bins and guide for the kitchen. It was very comfortable, with great wifi and all you need. Exactly what we wanted!"

This hotel is old (they don’t call it “historic” for nothing) and run down (featuring peeling wallpaper, a saggy matress, threadbare carpet and a kitchen that looks like it was built in the 80s).
