"Beautiful resort and staff "

"We stayed three nights at this resort. The greenery around this property is breathtaking! The staff were really helpful and attentive although a few areas can be improved. The last ten minutes or so to get to this place had awful road conditions compared to other roads in Kerala. This is not entirely properly’s fault but they and the other resort owners on the same road should be able to influence the government or pave it at their own expense. The lunch at this pkace was awesome! We should have eaten here everyday! The breakfast and dinner buffet was so so. Also, they were understaffed during these times and could not be as attentive. The buggy service was a hot or miss. We had two senior citizens staying with us and one of them had knee surgery recently and without the buggy it would be almost impossible her to access the hilly terrain. The buggies did not always come on time. However, they apologized and ultimately sent them. We rented a two bedroom property with pool. The place was spotless and beautiful! We will be back again. If you have a car/driver, skip the breakfast or dinner and opt for the lunch gir your half board option. Some of the dishes made to order during lunch are the best I had in Kerala! "It’s a lovely location away from the busy areas. Staff have excellent service. You can not walk anywhere outside the property. Breakfast was good. We did not get to use the infinity pool - but views from there are spectacular. "

"Spectacular location and the treehouse was amazing. The resort is tired though, and the dining facilities themselves are fine but the crockery was dirty. We are glad we visited, but one night for us was perfectly enough."

"I booked this property for the benefit of airport shuttle as per information provided on the search. I contacted them through expedia messages and didnt get a reply. I then called them when I reached India which was option 2. Firstly, the number they provided was not the number to call. The person then gave me 2 different numbers. I called both numbers and the receiver was confused that i needed airport pickup, stating they dont have a hotel taxi and dont do airport pickups. This was after telling me to hold on and hanging up on me multiple times. Eventually, I was told I must call another number which was a landline. By now, I was fustrated and thinking this was a scam. Then they told me I must pay my own taxi to get to the hotel which was 2 hours away. After 1 hour back and forth trying to get a solution or a refund and now midnight, I decided I would just book another hotel few minutes away. Luckily I coukd afford it at the time. After a long flight and having to deal with a wrong number, false advertising and having to speak to multiple people is quite unprofessional and tiring. This was my 16 th hotel in 16 days with city and country hopping and I have not received such unprofessionalism in any other. They get a minus rating even lower than terrible from me. "

"Situated amidst the lush tropical forests of Kerala's western high ranges, the hotel is at an altitude of around 3500 ft. Weather is pleasant with occasional drizzle and turns refreshingly chilly in the afternoons accompanied by mists that envelop both the hotel and its surroundings. Named aptly as "Scenic," the property offers breathtaking views of mountains and valleys, with mornings serenaded by the chirping of birds. There is a yoga deck, pool, and spa, where traditional Ayurvedic massages can be done. Rooms are spacious, some featuring private swimming pools and balconies. At this moment only one restaurant is operational at the property with a buffet breakfast and ala carte lunch and dinner options. Munnar town is 30 minutes away. Staff are polite and friendly though some need a bit more training and the property management needs to focus on this. Linens, towels are fresh, new and clean. I will highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit to Scenic. "
